Nato nel 1941 a Faedo (Trento), Salesiano di don Bosco dal 1958, sacerdote dal 1973. Ho studiato in Piemonte (Penango, Foglizzo).
In Germania (1964-1970), ho trascorso due anni a Berlino per un tirocinio pedagogico e quattro anni di teologia in Baviera, conseguendo in questo periodo anche il Grosses deutsches Sprachdiplom che mi abilita all’insegnamento della lingua tedesca.
Dal 1970 al 1986 ha lavorato presso la editrice LDC di Leumann-Torino curando la produzione dei settori audiovisivi e musicale.
Bibliotecario all’Università Salesiana dal 1986-1997 e dal 2008 al 2014. Diplomato alla Scuola di Biblioteconomia Vaticana nel 1988, ho curato la formazione di decine di bibliotecari e introdotto l’automazione nella biblioteca UPS e molte novità tecniche, creando tra l’altro il sito web e una apprezzata guida descrittiva della biblioteca. Sono stato uno dei quattro fondatori e primo direttore della rete informatica URBE che collega a Roma 18 biblioteche universitarie pontificie.
Dal 1997 sono stato attivo in Russia nel Centro Salesiano Don Bosco di Gatčina. Ottenuta una licenza editoriale, ho fondato e diretto una editrice pubblicando centinaia di libri in russo. Ho fondato e diretto per cinque anni l’edizione russa del Bollettino Salesiano e creato il primo sito salesiano in lingua russa (+inglese, italiano e tedesco). Sempre in Russia ho lavorato in tipografia e svolto anche azione didattica insegnando italiano e tedesco nella scuola di ragioneria e in un Centro linguistico.
Rientrato in Italia nel 2008, ho diretto la nuova biblioteca UPS, recuperando diversi progetti sospesi durante la nuova costruzione. Dopo due anni trascorsi a Castelgandolfo, sono stato tre anni nella diocesi di Montepulciano-Chiusi-Pienza come vice-parroco a Torrita di Siena e Montefollonico. Attualmente sono viceparroco nella parrocchia di San Cassiano a Biella.

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
